This player is amazing. This is significantly better than the players before gen bdps1, even the bd91. There are some things to consider Blu-ray. He should not play CDs. If you have 1,000 to pay for a Blu-ray Elite, then you should have money, like 600 or Cambridge blue sky as CD-24 bit. blue ray lasers are very narrow and not correctly read the CD, and thereby make sense would be more work than isconsidered valid by the main producers.
That said, drooling! upscaling best I've seen on any player to date, the full functionality of streaming, watch and Pioneer Elite. It 'a very good player and I for one think it's best to date.
It plays CDs and decodes internally Advanced Audio (less DTS-HD Master) to PCM for transmission over HDMI or analog, for all legacy receivers out there.
Blu ray very nice, but with many interesting features. Fillersa computer is not as fast as a normal player, but not a big deal. This model is much better than the last of this lineage. Picture and sound is wonderful on a plasma TV from Pioneer. I also have the VSX-91TXH Elite amps to go with my work great network, but the pioneering work of price OK.
WOW is great player!
I begin to enjoy more than Pioneer.
The manual for the BDP-94FD, the connector diagram on page 11 shows 8 RCA connectors to support 7.1.
Idoubt that there will be great physical changes between the BDP-94FD and BDP-95FD to be freed.
I do not claim any specific expertise, but my experience with the Pioneer Elite was my barometer. I bought a second DVD of a couple of years ago to support SACD and DVD my Denon does not. Pioneer Denon beat both image quality and musicality in my setup and the Pioneer is still working, the engine Denon went there about 6 months. Sounds real simpleI ………..
New Pioneer Elite Blu-ray player, the BDP-95FD, is aimed at enthusiasts, as it seeks to videophiles: In addition to HDMI 1.3a xvYCC color, has a high exit rate, even higher audio codecs, including DTS HD Master Audio. In other words, if you buy one of the last, kick-ass A plus A / V receivers, you might actually be able to use its audio decoders.
The receiver has made a couple of other things too, such as Media Streamerfor the content of PC Home Media Gallery, Pioneer system.
® ® Pioneer Elite BDP-95FD Blu-ray Disc Player
The new Pioneer Elite BDP-95FD offers unprecedented high-definition picture and sound because of HDMI 1.3. The BDP-95FD can faithfully reproduce the 1080p at 24 frames per second (fps) for the conservation of sequence features that the director intended. How happy I am that I was a Pioneer Elite "target" … The VSX-94 is beyond comprehension, when used in combination with the BDP-95, life is absolutely hilarious in harmony .. and after it took two weeks full hook very effective, I was a Manual ELITEZEN ….
I just got a Pioneer Elite BDP-95HD toPioneer Store in Costa Mesa.
I'll keep this first post to find answers to common questions and the new owners to get answers quickly.
Does the Pioneer Elite BDP-95HD generate the DTS-HD Master Audio bitstream that can be decoded by the receiver / processor?
– Yes My Integra DTC-9.8 DTS presents '-HD MSTR' when I select DTS-HD Master Audio CD soundtrack. The audio is a frig'in-believable!
Where is the time of employment has improved over the 94HD?
– Using POTC: COTBP asreference, it took 22 seconds to press START on the remote to the load POTC … " is displayed and a total of 38 seconds for the Disney screen to appear
How does the PQ compare with the 95FD the 94HD?
– Very similar – 95FD just a little 'clearer
To what extent 1080p24fps work:
– Seamlessly
How good is the SD DVD upconversion on the BDP-95FD?
– Excellent (better than the BDP-94HD and HD1)
REPORTED questions or problems:None.
I watched Kingdom of Heaven Blu Ray while listening to the soundtrack DTS-HD MA (poster Integrates DTS-HD MSTR
Sounds frig'in-UN-believable.
Player seems to work perfectly. Startup time more than acceptable. Meet the distance. It 'hard to say whether there were differences PQ of the PS3, which I had, but the DTS-HD MA is mind blowing …
It took 35 seconds after you press the Close button on the remote kingdom of heaven to startListen …
With a disc in the DVD and stop using POTC: COTBP It took 22 seconds to load POTC message to appear and a total of 38 seconds for Disney to appear on the screen .. .
After configuring, I can not do without seeing again. As you can see in the picture looks almost identical to the 94HD and HD1. I like to watch her class though. I love this look glossy piano finish. Tony said it takes about 35 seconds for the titlesto start playing. Which is really a big enough improvement for the two older models. Like the other original set is a breeze. I like the boot screen better on the Pioneer 95FD. It 'a fresh appearance. I am not only compare this unit for his brothers (and cousins), but also for the Samsung 1400. This elite unit costs more, but you feel like it is money well spent.
Once again I have the resolution button on the remote. Being able to change the flight is much more funthen having to stop the movie and go to the setup menu (like the 1400 and HD DVD). If a feature other manufacturers could learn from Pioneer that would be a good start. Also, after 1080p/23.98 (24) is without problems is a breath of fresh air. Toshiba has struggled like many of us know if it is nice to have a device out of the box (like the 1400, 94HD and HD1) that can 1080p/23.98 no problem EDID. I have not spent much time withthis unit, but from what I can tell you that this is the best Blu-ray market.
D The picture is very colorful and very sharp. E 'bests the impressive (especially for its price) Samsung 1400. Not much in terms of pic Q, but when you add the whole package together, you know why the Pioneer is more. Image settings, menu items, a great distance of years (which is light ahead of the competition) and, of course, a great picture with excellent audio. Speaking of noise, I made asome comparisons, but it is all too easy to choose between broadband access in the menu. Confusion here. You send or DD or DTS via HDMI or PCM … Call. Simpler than that. I will soon send the audio, but the sound of my receiver (Onkyo 905) sounds great as I expected. He also played a few minutes, good, I had the 95FD it. Not that it's better, because I will not open this Pandora's box again. So do not ask here. PM me.
I use l 'new Sony VPL-VW60 "Black Pearl" (which is the pic 3) for all my comparison so far. E '1080p / 23.98 runs like a champion. I can also send directly into my Crystal II, then adjust the image before sending it to the VW60 in 1080p/23.98. The Pioneer 95FD gets along well with all my other components that I take for granted today.
And yes, I mean the XA2 and A35 which are stubborn when it comes to sending 1080p/24 to some screens. In direct comparison with94HD is obviously 95FD on one unit more flexible, with a little 'time to load faster. Being able to pass HBR audio directly to the receiver for decoding is really cool. Especially if you bought one of the most recent in a position to decode. The picture Q is very close. I still come and go. Go straight to my PJ 95FD aspect is just a little 'sharper, but their bright colors are almost identical. I would say that is adapted to multimedia gallery95FD. I never really entered into this feature before, but now I'm intrigued so I may just Jump In!
Bottom line is if you have the 94HD and does not care about the audio at high speed, so there is absolutely no reason to download the 95FD. However, if you do not like and are interested in obtaining the best Blu-ray drive in terms of functionality and PIC / Q sound, then look no further than the 95FD! I hate to pick the new drive unit of Pioneer, as my favorite Blu-ray, but honestly othercompanies are still two steps back. The 95FD is the starter of my creation. More to come (SD DVD against the A35 and XA2, and even 1400) and some ideas for audio … BTW, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (BR) is looking impressive and sound on this device! Get a copy!
Well, I am pleasantly surprised by the fact that the post 95FD has excellent upconversion. Much better 94HD and HD1. I even step through the HQV benchmark tests of Blu-ray and handles them very well.Especially my favorite stage torture test! And as the tradition of late, has also done my adult video look great! It 'just the same with the A35 and XA2. I want to work harder tomorrow, and no real part from the comparison (1400 included), but my first initial impressions are very good to excellent … More to come ..
Great report Joe. Thank you. Looks like a winner. I love you too "classic" look and finish of "Elite" equipment. This is definitely the car I'll buy when my Onkyo 885 Pre / Proarrives.
You compared a PCM 5 .1 like leaving the PS3 vs. 95? So that should not be a noticeable difference, but if you do not mind a comparison, I would be curious to know with certainty.
Not surprisingly, the DTS-MA sounds better in 95, as you get the signal complete only cons. 1 5 Core PS3. I can not wait to hear this!
DTS-HD hi res King Soundtrack DTS HD New York (I am examining) and DTS-HD Master isthe rise Fantastic Four: Member Of The Silver Surfer Soundtrack what DTS-HD Master …
As I wrote earlier in this thread the 1400 is very close, but the 95FD produces sharper images. Also, I prefer for SD DVD upconversion. I like all the other features like the resolution button on the remote. It's much more fun to be able to change the resolution on the fly, despite having to hit stop and go in a configuration menu. Especially when you try to compare! I spentsome time this afternoon playing Blu ray different, but tomorrow I will do my comparison between the XA2 for SD DVD upconversion. I predict that the 95FD will be at par with the XA2. We need to know what chip it uses, because it is so much better than the 94HD and HD1 … More to come tomorrow …
If the 95 can match the XA2 on SD upscaling is a huge advantage. New DVD XA2 makes it almost like HD and so far only players who can do the same work are at the end Hi –O Denon players costing 5 times. The Samsung 1200 has the Reon chip and must be large, but lacks the new audio capabilities. Depending on the test, I will be a new 95 owner soon.
I have the BDP-95FD and the PDP-6010fd display. Extremely satisfied. Firmware support was excellent. I use a preamp with 2.2 x digital touch, touch digital amplifier Boz, Escalante Pinyon and a pair of submarines Escalante. My connection is through the coaxial digital output. I had asigning improvements Denon 3930 in my system using the same set-up and I must say that the sound quality and impact of low blows me away on BPD-95FD form of shares, the Pioneer BDP-95FD is an excellent performer in terms of audio and video.
Since my system is able to handle two-channel audio through the digital output, I have the version with two channels of Dolby Digital Plus?
Me too, I'm 95 and a receiver 94 and is quite impressive in the sound department. There is a certainadvantage of having songs MA. If you have good equipment.
